Beyond Shears Policy and Procedure
At Beyond Shears Hair Studio, we pride ourselves in our skill level and the products we use, as the salon has maintained long-lasting relationships with our satisfied clients.
This is a state-certified establishment, and we try our best to create our clients’ desired results. The best way to assist us is to be clear about your request and disclose any and all information about previous hair treatments and chemical services.
By law, we have the right to refuse service to any client at any time if we feel as though our well-being is compromised.
Please note that children are not allowed in the salon unless they are receiving a service due to liability and safety issues and to ensure a relaxing experience for all guests.
By receiving services from Beyond Shears Hair Studio, you (client) approve and give consent to the following:
If client arrives 15 minutes after scheduled appointment, client will be charged $35, which must be paid at the time of service.
If client is 30 minutes late, the stylist has the right to cancel my appointment, and client forfeits deposit. Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Certain services require in-person consultations, such as wigs, u-parts, and micro links. These consultations are important for texture matching and scalp analysis.
Because the wigs and u-parts are custom made, they require two (2) in-person consultations, and there are no refunds, no exchanges, and no returns. Also, there is a fee for wig coloring (based on hair length), and if client colors a wig, u-part, or hair, it can change the texture and curl pattern of the hair.
Client understands that chemical treatments have different effects on different hair types and colors. Client agrees to hold the Beyond Shears and the stylist harmless in the event of undesired results. Client has had the process, and possible results adequately explained to them. Client has been given the opportunity to make requests and ask any questions client may have. Client understands that any further alterations or corrections will be provided at client’s own expense.
If the client’s hair is not the color expected and needs to come back to continue the process, Beyond Shears Hair Studio is not responsible for paying for the process of client changing the color. Each appointment client will be charged as expected for the color correcting process due to the cost of supplies and labor fees.
Client consent to photographs being taken of client’s service for use inside Beyond Shears Hair Studio, and client consents to pictures of their service being shared on social media.
Client agrees to waive and not pursue any claim against Beyond Shears Hair Studio should client experience any coronavirus symptoms or test positive for coronavirus after receiving service from the salon.
