Beyond Shears Hair Studio is a state-certified establishment committed to professional service, technical excellence, and a safe environment. Clients must be honest and thorough about all previous chemical services and hair history to ensure the best results. We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
Children are not permitted unless receiving a service, due to safety and liability concerns.
Appointments & Consultations

Arriving 15 minutes late requires a $35 late fee.

At 30 minutes late, the stylist may cancel the appointment and the deposit is forfeited.

All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Select services (wigs, u-parts, microlinks) require in-person consultations for texture matching and scalp analysis.

Custom units require two consultations and are nonrefundable, nonreturnable, and nonexchangeable.

Coloring a unit may alter its texture or curl pattern.
Chemical Service Acknowledgment
Results vary based on hair condition and history. Client agrees to hold Beyond Shears harmless in the event of undesired outcomes. Additional appointments required to reach a desired color will be charged as separate, full appointments due to the cost of supplies and labor.
Media Consent
Client consents to photos and/or videos being taken and used for salon or social media purposes.
Health Waiver
Client agrees not to pursue claims if they develop COVID-19 symptoms following a service.
Conduct Expectations

Unprofessional behavior, including profanity, inappropriate comments, or disruptive conduct, may result in removal and denial of future service.

Abusive or aggressive behavior toward staff or clients will result in immediate removal and possible suspension from services.
Children’s Policy
Children receiving services must be supervised at all times. Running, climbing, or opening drawers is prohibited for safety reasons.

Children under 18 (who did not drive themselves) must have an adult present.

Children 15 and under require direct parental supervision.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and cash.

All sales are final.

Once you are seated in the stylist’s chair, no refunds are offered for services or hair units (wigs, ponytails, u-parts, half wigs, custom pieces).

Continuous Education Courses: All course payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Due to limited availability, preparation, materials, and digital access provided, no refunds are issued for missed classes, cancellations, or schedule conflicts.
Liability Release
Clients must disclose all allergies prior to service. Failure to disclose—including unknown allergies—releases the stylist and Beyond Shears from liability. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond Shears, its stylists, and assistants from any claims related to allergic reactions, injuries, damages, errors, or omissions.
Parking
Clients must park in designated visitor areas. Beyond Shears is not responsible for vehicle damage, towing, booting, property loss, or injuries occurring in the parking area. Client agrees to indemnify Beyond Shears from any parking-related claims.
Policy Updates
We may update these Terms at any time by posting revised policies. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes must be resolved in Fulton County, Georgia.
